Karen Schipper is a South Carolina based illustrator and paper goods designer creating art that aims to inspire optimism and encourage relationships. Growing up in Hong Kong, she starting making her own handmade cards as a child and hasn't been able to shake off her love of stationery. With a BFA in graphic design and a decade of design experience, Karen’s illustrations are rooted in design thinking with a side of whimsy. Her work weaves together her childhood years, her background in design, and her joy in the every day.
