Feminists of Winnipeg started as a pandemic project on Instagram to share, learn, and educate other people about the intersectionality of feminism. Founder Katie Borgfjord felt Winnipeg was missing a Gen Z voiced activist community, especially in print format. Feminists of Winnipeg is an inclusive and safe community, built to support local voices.
